The special design does away with the primary defect found in almost every other vise (movement or tilt of the jaw, while it is clamped). Flame hardened bed standard on all models. Important ground surfaces include top and bottom vise bed, tops of both jaws in pairs, and all jaw plate-mounting surfaces.
